Aitor Gaizka established his new venture in 2008 to create THE SYMMETRY OF LOVE, his second feature film. This English-language romantic comedy was filmed entirely on location in London and premiered in the US and Canada (Alchemy [Millennium / Nu Image]) and Spain (Pecado Films) in 2011, later being released in the Czech Republic and Slovakia (Film Europe) in 2014. The film was selected for numerous international film festivals and won the BEST FILM Award at the Zaragoza Film Festival in Spain. It is available on various VoD platforms, including Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Filmin, Google Play, Microsoft Store, Vudu, and Mubi, with its original soundtrack accessible on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, Google Play, and eMusic. Prior to founding Flea Market Pictures, Aitor Gaizka wrote, produced, and directed three award-winning short films. He received the LUIS BUÑUEL FILMMAKING AWARD at the 2003 Villa de Madrid Awards for his debut feature, ENTRE ABRIL Y JULIO, which also won BEST FILM at the Isla de La Palma International Film Festival. This film was released in Spanish theaters in November 2002, distributed by Sherlock Films, with DVD distribution by DeAPlaneta Home Entertainment and TV and VoD rights handled by A Contracorriente Films. It has been acquired by Netflix, TVE, Movistar, and various cable operators in Europe and America, and is included in the Spanish Cinema catalogue of Instituto Cervantes, available at over a dozen of its centers worldwide.
